Dear community,

as some of you may have already experienced, the ET Master Server is down.
This is because ID Software has had experienced and is still experiencing power outages that are caused by extreme winter weather in Texas, USA.

In order to continue browsing servers, you can use our fallback / backup master server called etmaster.net.

You can find the necessary instructions on the website, whether you are a server admin or player yourself.
As a server admin, please add master0.etmaster.net to your list of master servers.
As a client, you have several options to use our service. One being downloading the fixed ET client executable that adds our master server to the list that will be queried upon request.

This is the recommended fallback until ID Software is able to reboot their servers.
